Proper transport and storage protect your investment and make future setup faster. Because SEG lightboxes include frames, graphics, wiring, and power components, the way you pack them matters.
Choose the Right Cases
Use cases or bags that are designed for your display components. Frame sections, graphics, lighting components, and accessories should each have a clear place. Foam-cut bags or organized cases help reduce damage during transit.
Label Everything Like Someone Else Will Set It Up
A common mistake is packing a booth in a way that only the original person understands. That works until a different employee, installer, or event team has to unpack it at the next show.
Every case should be labeled by booth section. Every graphic should be labeled by frame location. Every power supply should be packed with the part of the display it powers. This is especially important for modular lightbox systems because multiple frames and graphics may look similar when packed.
Use simple labels such as:
- Back Wall Left
- Back Wall Center
- Back Wall Right
- Counter Graphic
- Tower A
- Power Supplies
- LED Jumpers
You can also add a printed packing list inside each case. This makes it easier to confirm that nothing is missing before the booth ships and easier to repack everything correctly after the event.
Good labeling does not just protect the display. It protects your schedule.
Pack Graphics Correctly
SEG graphics should be clean, dry, and rolled rather than folded. Folding can create creases that are more visible when the graphic is illuminated. Label each graphic so it can be matched to the correct frame section.
Protect Power Supplies and Cables
Power supplies, cables, and LED jumpers should be packed in a dedicated bag or compartment. Keep them away from sharp frame edges or heavy parts that could crush connectors.
Store Displays in a Dry Area
Between events, keep cases in a dry, climate-controlled area whenever possible. Avoid damp storage, extreme heat, or places where cases can be stacked improperly.
Use a Pre-Show Checklist
Before shipping to the next show, confirm that all parts, graphics, cables, and accessories are present. This is especially important for larger 10x20 backlit booth configurations with multiple frames and components.
